My name is Pam McMurtrey and I have been teaching middle school students since 1997. I attended Rosary College, now Dominican University, on a volleyball scholarship. I played for two years and then transferred to College of St. Francis and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I am married to Paul and have two children, Haley and Aaron. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade science at Coal City Middle School. I am the Coal City High School varsity volleyball coach and also the Coal City Middle School 8th grade volleyball coach. I am the yearbook sponsor, student council co-sponsor and I also have the honors of taking our students to Washington, D.C., which I would highly recommend!
