Meet Mrs. Traxler!

Hello! My name is Jessica Traxler, and I teach 6th grade English at the middle school. I am excited to begin my 18th year in the Coal City School District. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, where I majored in English education. I then received a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. When I am not reading and writing with 6th graders, I am spending time with my husband, our two handsome sons, Cayson and Colton, and our 3 adorable dogs, Murphy, Teddy, and Lola.
