New Beginnings: Turning Goals into Achievements

As we returned from break, Mrs. Noffsinger’s classes focused on more than New Year’s resolutions. Students created pathway milestones to achieve their long-term goals, learning to turn dreams into reality through actionable plans. As the saying goes, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Additionally, students identified potential challenges and applied the concept of productive struggle to develop a plan for embracing difficulties. This approach aimed to foster resilience and build confidence in overcoming obstacles.

In the weeks ahead, students will explore nonfiction writing with Unbroken: An Olympian's Journey from Airman to Castaway to Captive and write a narrative continuation essay. Daily lessons will include vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics to enhance their skills.

“We’re excited to begin the second half of seventh grade and can’t wait to see these young, beautiful minds grow,” Mrs. Noffsinger said.
