Meet Mrs. Matsko

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Ashley Matsko and I teach 6th grade math and 8th grade pre-algebra. This is my 16th year of teaching middle school math (my 7th here at CCMS). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and my Master's in Teaching with Technology from University of St. Francis. 

I have 5 kids: Danny, Riley, Darcy, Molly, and Rory.  When I'm not teaching or running around with my kids, I love to watch movies & HGTV, go out to eat (my favorites are Texas Roadhouse & Olive Garden), and take walks or bike rides with my family.  

My goal as an educator is to help students engage in meaningful experiences that will foster a love for learning (especially for math!) and challenge them to grow beyond their expectations. I look forward to a great school year!
