Welcome to seventh grade!

My name is Mrs. Noffsinger, and I am delighted to be teaching seventh grade English Language Arts at Coal City Middle School. As your child’s educator, my goal is to nurture the whole individual while assisting with creating his or her goals and reaching new heights. I believe wholeheartedly in having a growth mindset, the “Power of Yet,” and feel all students can achieve success.

Each student is unique, and I will passionately strive to teach the Illinois writing, reading, language, speaking, and listening standards, prioritizing the students’ learning styles and specific needs. My aim is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to reach his or her full potential.
