Coal City Middle School students are newly published authors of a book titled, “If you give a middle schooler…”
The book features stories written by 17 students and accompanied by their original illustrations.
“The kids are so excited about the book that we wrote,” said teacher Angela Roudis. To celebrate the student authors and illustrators, their teachers—Mrs. Roudis, Miss DeKruiff and Miss Lange—hosted a book party on Friday, April 11. Several members of the school and administrative staff were in attendance to recognize the students outstanding work and to read their original stories.
